  • 12th schedule act 1922

    Hi,
looking at purchasing a property and in the title register the following is stated:

The land was formerly copyhold and the rights saved to the lord by the 12th schedule of the law of property act 1922 are excepted from the registration.

    What does this mean,

    either:
    1: the lord has rights
    or
2: the lord has no rights

wondered if this was anything to worry about and if it can be changed if needed,

    thanks in advance,
    rocket.
