  • Extra seperate sums of payment on a house sale/deeds/contract?

    Hello all.

I have agreed a sale of £240,000 for my property.

The buyer I have agreed the price with wants only £225,000 to go onto the paper/deeds and sale, but he is also paying me the remaining £15,000 separately.

I want this £15,000 to go onto the deed/sale as well and want to avoid accepting a private bank transfer.

The £15,000 he has is legitimate, meaning he has earned it through rightful and lawful means.

Is it possible to create a sale of £225,000 and a further separate £15,000 on the deed/contract?

Would the £15,000 just pass on it's own, or does it need a reason (such as fixtures and fittings, etc)?

Any help will be most appreciated, thanks in advance.
