  • Conveyancing No Sale no Fee

    Hi,

We are having a nightmare time in the world of house moving.

We have been let down twice on properties we were buying. This time surely has to be third time lucky. Our conveyancers stipulated no sale no fee when we joined them. This however, being our third attempt to buy they have said we will now have to pay the fee again. I explained had the fault been ours we would gladly pay but on each occasion it is us that has been let down. should I try and fight them or just pay up. Would be grateful for your view on this please. I think I kind of feel guilty that they have done the work twice and I'm expecting a third lot for nothing.

    Many thanks

    You should feel guilty.
No one should be expected to work for nothing!
I am amazed they even did it once.
If you cannot afford legal costs you should not be buying!

I disagree - if the company advertises that they work on a "no sale no fee" basis then they should be held to that standard!

If they don't like this, they need to make a change!
