  • How can I get a copy of the Deeds Transfer?

In a recent house sale the final account from the solicitor showed £500 less than the agreed selling price.
The solicitor has said that the price paid by the buyer was the price that I signed for, yet I remember the Deeds Transfer document showing the correct price (£500 more than the solicitor has accepted).
Does anyone know how to get a copy of the Deeds Transfer that I signed?

If it is in England/Wales the Land Registry entries should show the price you sold it for

However I would simply go back to your solicitor and ask him to explain the inconsistency. Did you for instance, agree an allowance on the price for some works?

As a conveyancing solicitor I want to be helpful (England/Wales only) but can't accept liability for this.
