  • ?? planning permission

Hi I am new to this and I am looking for some help please!!! We are looking at a 3bed semi which at the back has a double storey extension. I have the HIP but I don't know if the relevant planning permission has been accquired or if needed at all.

Any help at all would be gratetfully received

    Thanks in advance

If the extension is relatively recent (since the mid-70s), any planning permission should be mentioned in the local search result - in the local land charges registers if it was subject to conditions, and in answer to enquiry 1 whether or not conditions were imposed
This is based on my experience as a conveyancing solicitor in England, but I do not accept liability for information I give in this forum
