My relatives are offerring to pay off the mortgage on my house.

Question: If they pay this debt back directly to the lender, do these relatives gain any rights to my property? Could they assert themselves to be the owners of the property?

Any oberservations / advice gratefully received.

If they choose to pay off your debt direct to the lender I dont think they have any right although I would definitely suggest you seek legal advice on this as their may be implications involved here.
