We signed a contract for 12 weeks with a 14 day notice period. If we want to move away from this EA due to poor service, do we need to wait until week 10 to give notice or can we give notice at anytime?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Josphine,

No luck still with the agent?

You can give notice in week 10 so as from week 12 you are free.

Make sure you do it in writing and i would suggest email and hand deliver the letter (even if it means popping through the letterbox when they are closed) just so they cant say they did not receive it.

    Good Luck!

Thank you. No. I have asked what else we can do to encourage viewings and suggested we add a floor plan. I received a reply which says, 'not sure why you're not getting viewings. We can add a floor plan but would it really put you off viewing a house if it didn't have one?'

Oh Dear! - Does not sound a very proactive agent, sympathetic to your needs.

I think you have done all you can, time for a fresh approach with a new agent!
