  • Buyer's survey didn't pick up on issue with floor

We are selling our property and are very close to exchanging contracts. The buyer has completed a full Home Buyer's survey, which did not pick up on an issue with the floor in one of the rooms (the floor requires reinforcing as dipping slightly away from wall). We have not mentioned this issue, largely because the tile floor hasn't ever been perfect anyway.

When the buyer discovers the issue, are we liable for any of the repairs?

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For me I think yes, you are accountable for repair since they did their part of giving you the right payment to get your house without thinking that there is no more to repair. Just to be pair with the amount you deal with.
