  • Leasehold covenant planning consent?

    Hi everyone,

We own a ground floor leasehold flat with a conservatory on the back that was there when we bought the property.
We are in the process of selling the property and our buyers solicitor wants retrospective planning consent for it, I have checked my councils planning portal website and it shows that planning consent was granted but apparently it also needs planning consent due to restrictive covenants which I don't think we're granted.
This conservatory was built 10 years ago.

    My questions are:

Can the owners of the freehold (Epping forest district council) make me remove the conservatory after it has been there for 10 years?

What are the chances of getting retrospective planning consent for it?
    Thank you
