  • Query on Capital Gains Tax

I am a half owner of a bungalow which is not my main residence- and considering selling. Can anyone tell me would I be eligible to pay any Capital Gains Tax on my share of the sold price? Thanks - Rockey

I am not an accountant but i think you would have to pay capital gains on your share of the house sold. You pay less if you once lived there. There is an annual exemption of around £10k I think but you'd need to check it out with an accountant.

Your local Citizens Advice Bureau might be able to help too.
