    I have a number of residential rental properties that I equally own with 3 other partners.

    Is there a way of splitting them up equally between all partners without having to a) pay stamp duty and b) revalue them and pay tax on the capital gain?

    Are you all interested in selling, or are you just interested in getting your share and moving on? Have the properties increased in value since you bought them? Or have they depreciated? There are a number ways you could do it, but there needs to be more information given.

      As for splitting up the properties - if you're a partnership, then I presume you're a registered business??
