  • Best strategy for Buy To Let

    Hi there,

    First time posting here!

My partner and I will be buying our first property in a couple of months. Shortly after that, we'll be looking into purchasing a BTL.

What is your favourite strategy for funding a BTL? Do you use investors, fund the deposit yourself etc etc?

To give you an idea of our current situation... we have a 15% deposit for our own property, within 6 months we'll have a 15% deposit for a smaller property, which will be a BTL. Both employed full time with reasonable salaries.

Would be great to hear some success (or failure) stories!

Re: Best strategy for Buy To Let

We want Umega Lettings to be THE Edinburgh Letting Company of Choice. There is a wide range of agents to choose from, offering flats and houses for rent throughout the city but we believe we are well positioned to develop the reputation as THE responsible Edinburgh Letting Company. A large chunk of our new business comes from referrals which highlights the level of service we offer our customers but we want to be the instinctive first choice Edinburgh Letting Company due to our outstanding reputation with landlords and tenants.
