I am a Landlord. I have had a horrible experience with a London agency over the past 2 years but paid them a commission both years. My tenant was signed under a company contract, through their employer. They now wish to renew as an individual and not through their employer. They also fell out with the agent and do not want to renew with them and proposed a direct contract with me (landlord).

I am happy to do this but am worried about I will be breaking the contract.

What is my position? Thanks in advance for advice

(on the contract it names the company and says on behalf of name of the tenant)
