  • Renting Ex-Council Flats

I am currently considering renting an ex-council flat in central London - are there any tips and pointers from anyone who has a similar experience? The flat is decent, but I am just worried about security within the neighbourhood. Any things I should look out for?

well generally Council built properties tend to be the best around! have you checked out the neighbourhood?

I stay in an ex-local authority flat, and it's okay, except for some really weird piping arrangement where a pipe from the neighbour's toilet empties out onto our front door. So I reckon there are definitely some "quirks" to these sort of housing.
