    Strangely we still receive very little requests for rent guarantee insurance even in this economic meltdown. We recently had a price reduction even though you would think claims are on the up but most landlords are just not interested.

    It's difficult to blame them as it can seem worthless for a landlord who vets their tenants well and has guarantors but unemployment is rising at an alarming rate and I don't think anyone is 100% safe so it is definitely worth taking out cover for.
