    Economic forecasting agency, Capital Economics, are predicting that house prices will fall 35% by next autumn, from their peak of last summer. Previously, the organisation had forecasted that prices would fall 35% by 2010, but in the wake of the economic downturn, the fall will be much quicker.     Doom and Gloom

    Oh come on, its all doom and gloom - there was an ealrier report (yes only a few months ago) saying that house prices will rise by 25% in the next few years.

    Anyone can write a report - Anyone can sensationalise headlines!

    Example - Halifax (house prises fall by over 12% (halifax & Nationwide) yet if you look at the REAL figures from the Land Registry paint a differnt picture.

    Its bad enough that the media are talking us into a bottomless pit of property decline.
