    If they account for 32% of home sales, can that really be taken to indicate that the buying public 'prefers' semi-detached homes, without knowing what percentage of the available housing stock is taken up by semis?

    If 32% of the housing stock is semi-detached, wouldn't we expect 32% of the sale/purchases to be of semi-detached homes....?

      I guess London is least likely because they are expensive and in low supply.
