    This seems a bit deceptive. The percentage of first time buyers isn't increasing because the numbers are increasing - it's increasing because the bottom has fallen out of the BTL market and no one is buying houses as an investment anymore.

    I'm a potential FTB myself and wouldn't go near the market right now.

      Actually agree - while the number of first time buyers may be increasing, they still remain at an historic low.
