  • Help with a inconsistent mortgage.

    Hi

Ive been paying my mortgage for 12 years currently.
And i have had few issues with the bank, refusing payments over phone, and causing me to call up, then they ask questions about the mortgage.

I found this very odd, and after the 4th time of happening, i began looking into.

It appears for 12 years ive been paying interest only mortgage, the bank refers to it as interest only also

I requested the documents which the bank say they have lost, all documents related to it are lost.

So i began digging out my documents, but my documents i have all say part and part mortgage, the land registry on property say part and part mortgages also.

Can someone give me some insight or advice, before i present to the bank.

    Thanks

Re: Help with a inconsistent mortgage.

    Hi Jon,

I would write a formal letter to the bank requesting they investigate.

To save me writing everything here its better i provide a link to the FCA complaints procedure to follow.

    Best of luck
