  • Quick move after purchase - advice wanted

We recently got a mortgage and our first property (first time buyers), but we already want to move, after about 4 months.

Aside from the potential difficulty of selling our property to anyone that knows how soon we're looking to move, what other mortgage issues might we face? If there's a penalty for ending or moving a mortgage, is this normally only a reasonable price after, say, 1 year, and anything under that incurs a far more serious penalty?

Also, any thoughts/past experience/advice on the difficulties of selling after this short space of time would be good - what it might mean when we get an estate agent involved (something we've never done, being first time buyers), and whether it sounds like sellers wouldn't be interested.
