    My ex partner and I bought a house for £129,000 in 2005.
    We have broken up and are discussing what happens next.
    I would like to buy him out, the house is valued now to be £145,000 ish- he would want half of the profit in order for me to buy him out.

    Currently, we owe, £120,000.

    I wondered if it was at all possible to get a mortgage alone, for £135,000 - this would represent, just shy of 95% LTV.

    Trouble is, I only earn 30k and I am 34!

    I just wondered if anyone might have experienced this themselves.

    We have gone on to interest only following the end of our fixed rate..
