  • high deposit low income

    Hi all,

My daughter earns 30,000 and has a 100,000 deposit, she needs a 150,000 mortgage, is this possible, she has a good credit rating.

Yes it should be possible - 5x income is available from a small number of lenders if the applicant has a good deposit and good credit history.

It may be worthwhile speaking to a reputable local mortgage broker to save you the trouble of searching around the individual lenders yourself trying to find which can help.

There are only a couple of lenders that will do 5* income, especially at the £30k. I agree with IFA & you ought to speak to an adviser.
