bought my property RTB with my son, I only went on mortgage so he could get the discount. When we move after the five years will he be able to be the only name on the new mortgage? He earns enough to have a mortgage in his own name.
    thanks for any help/advice

    The short answer is yes.

If he earns enough, then he can get a mortgage in his own name, but then you will have to come off the deeds too.
