  • un mortgageable property advice

    hi

I am looking to buy a hose that is un mortgageable due to no bathroom, basic kitchen. Does anyone know where I could look for finance during the first period of work prior to the property being ready for a proper mortgage?

    Unmortgageable property.

    Hi

I have just joined the forum and noticed your post.

I am a mortgage broker and this should not be too difficult.

You can either bridge( Bridging loan companies tend to lend on bricks and mortar value- you need to get the right one though) and remortgage depending on the amount of time the work takes or there are a couple of lenders who specialise in mortgages for properties that need work.

    Try Buildstore-

If you need any more help please contact me.

I would obviously need to know a lot more detail before I could offer any advice/recommendation.

    Regards

As Ian correctly says - This is possible, as your make the changes you would be able to change the mortgage.

You can also use BMS House to House product for properties that need a lot of work.
