I'm buyng a house that has an old back boiler in it - should I look into taking it out and having a combi fitted? It works ok but I don't know how efficient it will be - anyone got any good advice on boilers?

are you looking to live in this house or rent it out? a new boiler would be about 20% more efficent. but cost of moving a boiler from the lounge to say the kitchen is high.

I'm going to be living in the house, not renting it out. But that's quite a difference in efficiency isn't it - better start saving. Any idea what sort of costs we are talking?
