  • Options on electrical supplies

I have been quoted £2.5k for an new electrical supply by Eon to a flat that sits above a shop. At present the power is coming from the shop free of charge however is due to be stopped. What options are available to me? Could I sub meter from the shop and pay them? is £2.5k quote from Eon reasonable, from supply to meter is about 4 meters.
    Thank You

You will be looking at the $1500 + so look around a bit. I may be wrong about this but is sub metering not illegal?
