  • splitting deeds HELP

    hi can anyone help,
i currently own a house and the mortgage on it is 111k. i have planning to convert the original house into 2 houses ( valued at 90k each when completed ), and i have planning to build 2 houses on the attached land.
i have finance in place to build the 2 houses but need to split the land from the house in order for the finance to go through. my mortgage company are refusing to co-operate in any way, and will not let me slpit the deeds. i have even told them that i am able to pay off a large chunk of my mortgage but they still refuse. i am therefore at a halt with all my plans.
does anyone have any idea how i can get round this? thanks

I think legal advice is the only way to go forward with this.
