  • I just bought an old takeaway please help

Hi, this is my first post and I was wondering if anybody could give me some advice/information. I recently bought an old takeaway and am trying to modernise it. The problem I have is I dont know how to get rid of the old chip fryer. Please help.

    Thank you.

depending on how big it is and what type of condition it is in, how about a scrap dealer or even ebay?

      Does it work?

If not weigh it in for scrap.

You'll need to spend £10-20k getting a Chippy back up to scratch.

Personally, i'd buy the shop, revamp, run it for 3 months untill theres good trades, then sell on a leasehold with a 20 year lease for rent.

A shop Turning over £3,000 a week should be worth £120-150k on a leasehold.

I'm not sure how that applies now, i don't think it would be on peoples priority list to buy a chipshop, especially with people laying off the luxuries lately
