  • Buying a Studio Flat with no central heating

Hello, I am a first time buyer and have just put in an offer for the studio flat in the link below:

Studio for sale in Oak Lane, Isleworth, Middlesex TW7 - 31423690 - Zoopla

I'm a bit worried as it doesn't have any kind of central heating except for 1 portable oil fueled radiator. The water is heated with an immersion heater. What kind of possible solutions would there be to provide adequate, cost effective heating if I purchased it? I have heard you can get storage heaters but they might be expensive to run. I don't think the properties in that area are connected to the gas grid. Also, its near a sewage works which might affect the resale value. As I am on a low wage (for London), I am limited to around £160,000 for a 1 bed.

    Many thanks
