  • No fixture and fittings list

    Good afternoon,
We have just completed on a property and moved in at the weekend. During negotiations, we agreed that all curtains would be left. However, the sellers have taken everything. We then realised that our solicitor had never sent through a fixture and fittings list so apparently there is nothing we can do. They also removed the plug sockets/light switches after we had had an electrical check on the property so the electrician is now having to re-checking all the wiring. Whose responsibility is it to get the fixture and fitting list? Its the first time we've moved in 45 years and were not aware of the process and now feel very silly that we didn't check this but thought our solicitor would have?. Thanks
