  • One year self employed mortgage

I keep reading on various forums that people who've been self employed for one year or less are finding it hard to secure a mortgage.

It really isn't rocket science - there are lenders out there capable of handling such situations and:

    - offer great rates
    - incentives such as generous cash backs
    - able to handle first time buyers, remortgages, bad credit and many more.

Self-employed find it harder to get a mortgage for good reason, they are a greater risk unless they can show a good track record over several years.

Agreed but not all lenders take the same adverse view and will accept just 1 year self employment; fact.
