  • "raw" property

I have been looking for some land to purchase and it seems that the "raw" un-prepared land is more expensive than the land that already has electricity and water ran on them. Why is this? My husband has been in the logging industry for a long time and the land we have looked at wouldn't be higher due to the timber.. What else could it be?

l you have to understand that you have to reconstruct the land to make it livable. You have to run pipes and that is going to cost out the butt. Then you have to prepare the land for building. There is much more to do when dealing with just land.
