    bit lost with this one. My partner and I are interested in buying the council property next door (living with my partners parents at the moment). is this possible or do we need to be tennant for a while? we have the money to buy it out right so may speak to the council soon but just wana know where we stand

    You buy council property its good .
    But i think before you have to need more info and more research for this .

      Council would only sell to a sitting tenant who has the Right to Buy under the Housing Acts.
