  • Cracks along ceilings edges and down some walls - survey before mortgage application?

    Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum - i'm a newbie.

We have had an offer accepted on a house - possibly 1950's terraced Victorian 3 bed.

On viewing there were some cracks running along where the ceiling meets the wall on the rooms at the front of the house, and some random cracks down the walls (not connected)

Is it best to get a survey carried out before we apply for the mortgage? If so, would the bank accept our report if requested?

Also, we were going to book a full building survey. Is this the best one for this query?

    Any advice appreciated Thanks xx
