  • A house to fix up

Sometimes buying a house to fix up can be a good option. There are a lot of people like myself who do not mind fixing up a house. You can often get a good deal on the house and take time to remodel the house and to personalize.

I agree, and you can add your own personal touch to your new home then. It's a bit disheartening trying to destroy a perfectly built house just to change a certain aspect of it to go with your own taste.

True.. but you have to repaint, you have to fix it up yourself, which is a timewaster. Usually, if you are selling a house, it is better if you fix it because it sells faster.
