  • Homeimprovement - mortgage v loan

I have been renovating my house for over 18months now but have finally ran out of money.

I have been looking at various ways to raise funds and i understand that remortgaging would only give me a valuation based upon the homes current value.

I was looking at taking out a loan to finish the works and then looking at remortgaging to pay the loan as the valuation would be higher? the loan has no early repayment fees.

Do i have this right or toatlly wrong. any help would be appreciated.
