  • A GDPR query

I had an offer on a house accepted 4months ago but due to lockdown and other issues haven't had the survey yet. My house is sold stc. I viewed another property this week and put in an offer to test the water as it were. I was very annoyed that the estate agent contacted my estate agent to check the chain before even passing my offer on. Whatismore they did so without informing me they were going to do so. This has now alerted the agent that I'm buying/selling through that I am looking at other properties. I feel this is a GDPR breach by one or both agents. I would appreciate any comment on this.
