how long is required time to carry out a full structural Survey

  • #2
One day at the most for the actual Survey, as far as I know. But it then takes 3 to 5 days to produce the Report.

A structural survey, now more commonly known as a Building Survey can take about 5 hours to complete, as they are more thorough. The time taken between writing up the report will depend on the surveyor and what they can offer - some use technology that allow them to input information into the report as they go. Always ask when the report is expected to be received. Most will ensure it is within around 5 working days, but some can turn it around more quickly.
