  • Tips on what to do in London on a budget

Shout out to students who are staying in London or wanting to move to London. There are many things you can do in London on a budget and I'm here to go through a few tips that can help you throughout your journey.

    • Public transport couldn’t be easier. At first it may be confusing, but you can easily get the habit of travelling with ease.
    • Travelling at night is cheaper than during the day as it’s “off-peak”. Take advantage of this when enjoying a night out with your mates.
    • You can get your own travelcard if you’re a tourist around London. Make use of this if you’re commuting to college, university or work.

    Dining out:
    • There are a huge number of restaurants that you can try out matching your budget. Especially as a student, you can get discounts on restaurants such as Nandos, Mcdonalds, Pizza Express- that’s the perk of being a student!
    • Even without a discount, you can still get affordable foods and beverages around London. Try Shoreditch, Camden, Oxford Street, Stratford etc.

    • Entertainment is bound to take place in the city of London. As a student you can have as much fun as you like without disappointment.
    • The cinema is the most visited by students and the benefits of using student discounts is very useful when visiting attractions in London.
    • There are a lot of activities you can do in London such as, indoor/outdoor golf, go karting, trampolining, bowling, arcades and much more! A bonus, they are quite affordable.
